Welcome to the UCL Agent-Based Modelling Working Group (UCL-ABM).
Our aim is to support and bring together students, academics and independent researchers from a wide range of disciplines who are interested in using computer simulation agent-based modelling (ABM) for their research.
This web site and our monthly UCL-based seminars:
- Promote the use of ABM as a theoretical and methodological tool to understand how the behaviours and interactions between individuals can develop into complex patterns.
- Help researchers design and program agent-based models.
- Facilitate new inter-disciplinary and collaborative research projects.
Whether you are a novice or expert in the field - or simply wondering if ABM is the right tool for your research project - anyone with an interest in ABM is welcome to join the working group. Please get in touch so we can add you to our members' database and mailing list, where you can receive the latest information on up-and-coming UCL-ABM events.
In the meantime, please explore this website for further information on ABM, including links to tutorial guides, conferences, journals, available software and discussion forums.
